Thermoforming

Thermoformed Plastics Manufacturer

Willamette Plastics utilizes two methods of thermoforming plastic production: vacuum forming and pressure forming. Both evacuate air from the sealed space between a heated plastic sheet and a mold to make the sheet conform to the mold.

The Benefits of Thermoforming

  • Short lead time for production parts
  • Much lower tooling costs when compared to injection molding
  • Capability to do very large plastics parts
  • Vacuum forming page

Vacuum Formed Plastics »

A fast and cost-effective way to produce plastic parts and offers great value for a wide range of products.

Pressure Formed Plastics »

Pressure forming is a thermoforming technique for parts requiring higher precision and detail, with more control.
